Released in Japan in 2014, New Nintendo 3DS was a considerably improved revision of the original 3DS. It incorporated a faster processor, the small C-Stick, ZL and ZR buttons, built-in NFC and a face-tracking system that stabilised the 3D effect as the user moved their head. Its greater power also allowed the release of certain exclusive games that could not run on earlier 3DS models.
