Released in China in 2014, Monon Color was an unusual low-cost handheld from M&D that, unlike many Chinese machines of its time, had its own catalogue of cartridge games. Some titles also used physical cards or badges through readers built into special cartridges, creating forms of interaction rarely seen in this type of console.
