Lenovo unveiled the final version of Legion Go Gen 2 at IFA 2025, after showing a prototype at CES earlier in the year, and announced availability beginning in September. This second generation retains the concept of a Windows handheld PC with detachable TrueStrike controllers, but introduces an 8.8-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 1920 × 1200, a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz and VRR. It can be configured with an AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme, up to 32 GB of memory and up to 2 TB of storage, while the battery increases to 74 Wh. The new controllers incorporate Hall Effect joysticks and retain the FPS mode that allows the right controller to be used as a vertical mouse.
