Bandai Arcadia was the licensed Japanese version of the Emerson Arcadia 2001 family, marketed in Japan in 1982. It used ROM cartridges and retained the architecture based on the Signetics 2650 processor. Bandai also developed four games exclusively for the Japanese market: Doraemon, Dr. Slump, Mobile Suit Gundam and The Super Dimension Fortress Macross, making this one of the most distinctive variants within the extensive Arcadia 2001 family.
