Released in 2005, it was the handheld version of the home V.Smile and used the same educational Smartridge cartridges. It could be played both on its built-in screen and connected to a television, and was especially aimed at children. Its success helped expand the V.Smile family, one of VTech’s most important educational lines during those years.
