Released in 2007, the PSP-2000 series, known as PSP Slim & Lite, was the first major redesign of PlayStation Portable. It was approximately 33% lighter and 19% thinner than the original PSP, doubled RAM from 32 to 64 MB and added video output for connection to a television, while retaining compatibility with PSP UMD games.
