Unveiled and launched in 2013, Xbox 360 E was the final hardware revision of Xbox 360. Microsoft redesigned its case to follow the styling of the newly announced Xbox One and simplified some connections compared with Xbox 360 S. Although it appeared at the beginning of the next generation, internally it remained an Xbox 360 and retained the same game catalogue and Kinect compatibility.
