GoldStar GDO-101M was one of the players manufactured under licence for the 3DO Interactive Multiplayer standard. 3DO was not conceived as a console produced exclusively by one company: The 3DO Company defined the architecture and different manufacturers could market compatible machines. GoldStar — later LG — thus joined Panasonic and other licensees with its own interpretation of the system. The GDO-101M used CD-ROM and ran the same 3DO software, but featured its own design and manufacturing solutions. Documentation for some regional variants is limited, so this entry avoids assigning internal differences that have not been confirmed for the 101M.
