Blaze Entertainment unveiled Evercade VS-R in 2024 as a revision of its Evercade VS home console. It retains the two slots for physical Evercade cartridges and the platform’s multiplayer focus, but adopts a new charcoal-grey finish with turquoise details and was marketed with an updated matching controller. It does not constitute a new Evercade generation: it retains compatibility with the cartridge library supported by VS and was conceived as the refreshed home model within the 2024 range.
