Released in 2022, Evercade EXP was the second generation of the Evercade handheld. It significantly improved the screen over the original model and introduced TATE mode, which allows the console to be rotated 90 degrees for comfortable play of vertical arcade titles. It retained compatibility with physical Evercade cartridges and added 18 Capcom games built into memory, combining for the first time in the family a substantial internal catalogue with the usual cartridge system.
