VideoBrain Family Computer was an American microcomputer launched by Umtech in 1977. Based on the Fairchild F8 processor, it was the first microcomputer to use ROM cartridges to load programs and video games. This system allowed software to run immediately, unlike the cassette tapes commonly used at the time.
