Sharp Famicom Titler, model AN-510, was an official Famicom variant manufactured by Sharp under licence from Nintendo and marketed in Japan in 1989. Its unusual feature was the combination of the console with video titling and editing functions: it could superimpose text and drawings over an external video signal using a tablet and stylus built into the equipment. It used standard Famicom cartridges and provided direct audiovisual output. It is one of the most specialised reinterpretations of the Famicom architecture, conceived both for playing games and for producing home titles and graphics over video.
