Prinztronic Tournament Colour Programmable 2000 appeared in 1977 as one of the British variants of the PC-50x family. The console did not use a conventional central CPU: the circuitry specific to each game was located in the cartridge itself, using General Instrument chips from the AY-3-86xx and AY-3-87xx families. Its catalogue included sports, racing, combat and shooting games, some of them compatible with a light gun.
