Nokia N97 was a Symbian smartphone with a touch screen, sliding QWERTY keyboard and support for Java and N-Gage video games. In 2009 it gained compatibility with the Zeemote JS1, a small wireless controller that connected to the phone via Bluetooth and allowed compatible games to be controlled using its analogue joystick and physical buttons. The combination could be taken even further thanks to the N97’s television output, allowing games to be displayed on a TV while being controlled remotely with the Zeemote.
