Microsoft launched Xbox Series X worldwide on 10 November 2020 alongside Xbox Series S. It was the higher-performance model with which Xbox opened this generation: it incorporated custom AMD Zen 2 CPU and RDNA 2 GPU technology, a 1 TB NVMe SSD, an Ultra HD Blu-ray drive and features such as Quick Resume. It maintained broad continuity with the Xbox ecosystem through compatibility with numerous games from previous generations. This entry is therefore corrected from 2021 to 2020.
