MB Microvision was an American handheld console released in 1979 and designed by Jay Smith. It was the first handheld console with interchangeable cartridges; each cartridge incorporated its own CPU and the game program in ROM, since the console had no central processor. Its LCD screen offered a resolution of only 16 × 16 pixels.
