Gakken Compact Vision TV Boy was a Japanese console released in 1983 with an unusual architecture: the main unit had no CPU, and each cartridge incorporated its own 6801 microcontroller together with the game program. Only six titles were released for it, and it reached the market when the Famicom and SG-1000 already offered technically more advanced systems, resulting in a very short commercial life.
