Commodore 64C was a redesign of the Commodore 64 released in 1986, with a new case inspired by the Commodore 128. It retained compatibility with C64 hardware and software and kept its 64 KB of RAM. It used ROM cartridges, cassette tapes and external 5¼-inch floppy-disk drives.
