Atari 2800 was a version of the Atari 2600 marketed specifically in Japan in 1983. It retained the 2600 architecture and ROM cartridges, but featured a new case, four controller ports and controllers combining joystick and paddle functions. Its design was closely related to the American Sears Video Arcade II.
