Released in 2023, Atari 2600+ recreated the design of the historic Atari 2600 using modern technology and HDMI output. Its main difference from many current retro consoles is that it uses physical cartridges, being compatible with a wide selection of original Atari 2600 cartridges as well as Atari 7800 cartridges. It therefore allows decades-old game collections to be used on modern televisions.
